This team is one of my old teams. This is also a pre-shoddy team, for when I didn't battle on shoddy. If you want to check out my other shoddy teams, please feel free to do so. If you want to battle me, I will be on shoddy, probably on the Team UBER server on most Thursdays through Sundays.
Anyway, for the team...

Gengar: This Gengar can be a surprise to many teams. It can use counter/focus sash to get a KO. It can use hypnosis to stall, and it can use explosion to get a second KO (in most cases). Shadow ball is there for a "normal" attacking move.
Salamence: It is the main special sweeper for this team. Draco Meteor, combined with STAB and choice specs, gets a KO on a lot of pokemon. Hydro pump and flamethrower hit a lot of pokemon that are resistant to dragon moves, and dragon pulse is there for later in the battle, when Salamence can destroy weaker foes with dragon pulse.
Metagross: My main physical sweeper, better used later in battles. It uses agility to become faster than most foes, then it uses its balanced array of attacks combined with its high attack power to finish off its foes quickly.
Swampert: Swampert is the physical wall of this team. In particular, it has stealth rock, and it can use roar for many things, such as destroying baton passed boosts. Avalanche is for the dragons while earthquake is for a strong attack.
Weavile: It's moves are well-rounded, and its offensive stats are very good, so it will strike first against most foes. It also has the life orb to make its moves very powerful, and it has ice shard to finish off weaker foes and to hit faster foes on some occasions.
Tentacruel: Tentacruel serves two functions on this team. It can rapid spin away spike moves, in particular stealth rock, which affects two of my pokemon severely. It also serves as a special wall for this team. It can lay down toxic spikes, and use its attacking moves when needed.
If you have any suggestions for this team, please tell me, and I might consider changing my team, but do not hate on this team, for it does not deserve a 1/1, no matter which way you look at it.
