Raticate is another Pokemon that is often overlooked in the competitive world of Pokemon, and rightfully so. It's incredibly frail, and its offensive powers are limited as well. However, even Raticate has a unique gmiick of a niche that sees it having the ability to sweep if it has the chance to.

Summary: This is it, period. The ONLY Moveset Spread that Raticate can run, and it takes some manuvering to get it all set up. The thing about Raticate is that no Pokemon is really fearful of it, so you have to pick the right Pokemon to come in on. Once you do, start by using Swords Dance and letting either the Toxic Orb or Flame Orb activate its Guts Ability. From there, you can usually sweep with STAB, Guts-Enhanced Facade. Zen Headbutt is mainly for Ghosts, as well as quicker Fighting Types. The last slot is up to the runner: Flame Charge gives great coverage against Steel Pokemon and also increases speed, but SuckerPunch usually gives you an automatic hit (useful before being killed).
