Mew
Description
Mew was the final Pokemon apart of the very First Generation of Pokemon, but it wasn't officially obtainable (outside of a glitch) until the Third Generation of Pokemon. It is a Pure Psychic Type Pokemon, and is apart of the Mew Duo with its clone, Mewtwo. Mew was the first ever Mythical Pokemon (only released by an event), as well as the original Legend with all its Base Stats sitting at one hundred. It can also learn any move in existence, which lets it be used in a number of capacities.
Warrior13's 6th Generation Competitive Suggested Mew Moveset
Item - Leftovers
Ability - Synchronize
Effort Values - 252 HP / 224 SpDef / 32 Def
Nature - Calm
Moveset - Defog / Will-O-Wisp / Softboiled / Taunt
Summary: Mew can also be seen as either a Special or Physical Sweeper, but it's seen at its best as a Defog User.
Defog removes all hazards in battle, and Mew doesn't take much damage from Stealth Rock if they are already on the field.
Will-O-Wisp cripples Physical Dark Types like Bisharp and Tyranitar.
Taunt prevents other Pokemon from taunting Mew, while
Softboiled allows Mew tow stay on the field longer.
TVKL's 6th Generation Personal Suggested Mew Moveset
Item - Leftovers
Ability - Synchronize
Effort Values - 252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Def
Nature - Calm
Moveset - Bulk Up / Calm Mind / Softboiled / Baton Pass
Summary: Great minds think alike... In this next set contributed by TVKL, Mew is also seen as a Support Pokemon. However, instead of being used as a Defog User, it's seen as a Baton Passer. The goal of this moveset is to setup with
Bulk Up &
Calm Mind, using
Softboiled to regain HP when needed, before passing all of these stat-boosts to another Pokemon with
Baton Pass. The goal is then to sweep with that next Pokemon.
Agility can be subbed-in to provide speed to also be transferred.
