Description

Linoone is yet another mediocre Pokemon that has one main moveset that is focused around the use of Belly Drum. Luckily, it was received in an event with the exclusive move of ExtremeSpeed. Let us tell you this: Gluttony + Belly Drum + ExtremeSpeed = A Living Nightmare. We mean, it is called the Holy Trinity for a reason.


Warrior13's 6th Generation Competitive Suggested Linoone Moveset

Item - Salac Berry
Nature - Adamant
Ability - Gluttony
Effort Values - 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Moveset - Belly Drum / Shadow Claw / Seed Bomb / ExtremeSpeed

Summary: This is it, the only moveset Linoone should ever have. It all begins with Belly Drum, and with perfect Individual Values and an Effort Value Spread like that, Gluttony will also come into effect. Before you know it, Linoone will be the third fastest Pokemon in the meta game (outside of Speed Deoxys, Ninjask, and Choise Scarf Users) and have a Maxed-Out Attack Stat of over 1000. From there, Linoone can easily sweep most Pokemon Teams, which is why it is key to kill it on the first turn if you can. Shadow Claw gives coverage against Ghost Type Pokemon; Seed Bomb gives coverage against bulky Rock Types. ExtremeSpeed finished the "trinity", and it hits extreme-ly hard with STAB after Belly Drum.
