Introduction

Arcanine is a rather rare Pokemon that some would even consider to be Legendary. This is a very tough Pokemon, and a great asset to your party.

Species: Legendary Pokemon
Height: 6’3” (1.9m)
Weight: 341.7 lbs (155kg)
Color: Brown

Location- This Pokemon is not found in the wild and can only be obtained by giving Growlithe a Fire Stone. In the Yellow and Red versions of the Pokemon game, Growlithe can be found at only two locations.

1) Pokemon Mansion at Cinnabar Island (Rare)
2) Routes 7 and 8 **Red Version only**

Blue version owners will not be able to obtain Arcanine through normal play, but will have to rather trade with a Red version game.


Strengths and Weaknesses

Arcanine is a Fire type pokemon. With that in mind, he is both strong and weak against fire type pokemon.

Arcanine is strong against Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel type Pokemon
Arcanine is weak against Rock, Ground, Water, and Dragon type Pokemon
