| Member: Destiny Glacia with respect, baron645, but i disagree with you mixed attacker because the SpA stat is severly outclassed by the Atk one. ExpertVire @Expert Belt Adamant 252Atk/252Spe Thunderpunch Icepunch Cross Chop EQ This boasts great type coverage, scoring super effective hits on 13 of the 17 types. Life Orb gives you some extra power against those neutral to Electivire's attacks. However, possible Stealth Rock, Spikes and Sandstorm / Hail can rack up the residual damage, making Life Orb recoil somewhat unappealing. Expert Belt doesn't suffer from constant recoil and still gives Electivire's attacks some extra bite.

Member: Seth Vilo I like this guy! I recently discovered its awesome stats and move-typing in my team making. Electivire's Sp. Attack is fairly mediocre, so I wouldn't use any special moves unless you plan on taking another team off guard. He's mainly Physical, and conveniently carries the popular Elemental Punches. In EV training, I max out his Speed and his Attack to give further sweeping ability, and give him an Adamant/Jolly nature. I use the following move set: Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, Cross Chop, and Earthquake. The hold item that I use is Expert Belt, simply because of the coverage his moves have, and a little boost against those weak to them helps. Life Orb, Choice Band, or Leftovers could feasibly be used in its place, but I prefer to have a boost without HP loss or being locked into a single move. Do whatever fits your team best!

Member: flygonmaster06 My electivire is just a freakin beast with physical attacks. If this poke gets the first hit in its over unless you have a Skarmory, then im in trouble.

| Member: redbaron645 mixvire ftw. Mixed Attacker Expert Belt / Life Orb Mild Moveset ~ Thunderbolt ~ Flamethrower ~ Hidden Power Ice ~ Cross Chop EVs 76 Atk / 252 SpA / 180 Spe This set can surprise several common counters to the previous set, while still retaining excellent type coverage. Thunderbolt has a slightly higher damage output than Thunderpunch when both stats are maxed out, although it is only a difference of 2%. Flamethrower destroys Forretress and hits Bronzong hard, and also does a lot of damage to most Celebi, who generally focus on physical Defense rather than Special Defense. Hidden Power Ice does far more damage than Ice Punch to bulky Ground types such as Donphan and Hippowdon, who are both 2HKOed with a Life Orb, although Hippowdon has a chance of surviving against three Expert Belt hits (Donphan is 2HKOed regardless of your item choice). Cross Chop stops Blissey and Snorlax shutting Electivire down and also brings down Tyranitar. Passing Nasty Plot boosts from Togekiss is a very effective strategy to employ alongside this version of Electivire. straight from the analyses and pure gold.
